15k armor question - Guild Wars Forums

I was looking around, and well, the 15k armor does the same exact thing as the 1.5k armor that can be bought in droknars. Now, unless there is "fine print" that i don't know about, i have to say they are the same, just one is 13.5k more. Is there a purpose to the 15k armor? Does it do anything special that isn't listed? If i missed a thread on this, i am sorry, please refer me to that one if there is one. Thanks for helping me out.

They have "enhanced graphics".

yes, different texture, and their are a million threads on this

i'm sure if you searched through a few threads for 'armor' you'll find them

There are no topics about 15k armor 6 pages back....so can someone please touch on this issue?Are there any places to see what it looks like?

yes, get out of questions and look in the screenshot exposition. Use the search button. There are many threads on 15k armor.

Just so this thread isn't a total loss.

Does anyone know if the armors that still need to be updated with their new graphics will update the ones worn by players as well?

When they updated warrior plate, the plate worn by players stayed the same. I've got my eye on that ascended gladiators, but it still doesn't look any different. I don't want to cough up the money only to have the same thing happen again once they update it.

Nobody knows for certain if the updated graphics will retrofit previously purchased equipment. Best idea is to simply hold off buying it till the graphics are changed.

Thats what I'm doing just to be safe. I know they updated the Monks Saintly recently, and one of the Necro sets before that. So I was wondering if anyone had those before being updated and noticed a change or not.
